Macro work

So I’ve been gone for a while now, I’m in my final year at Uni so doing a lot of work. But thought I would post a few of my macro photography for people to look at. Please let me know what you think. Thanks! x

Daisy

As I’m sure everyone in the UK knows it has been boiling hot over the past few days, so in the park yesterday I decided to take some pictures of the surroundings, mainly involving daisies. Hope you enjoy, feedback/comments always welcome

For this photograph I used my macro lens but balanced the camera on my camera bag instead of using a tripod, so I could get really low. I was just messing around but it turned out better than I expected

 

For this photo I just used the macro setting on my camera, held a daisy in one hand and took the picture with the other

Fungus

So the title doesn’t sound too appealing but when I saw this tree stump that had been unloved and forgotten I had to photograph it.

It was my first trip out with my new nikkor macro lens (that is actually from the 70s) so I was messing around with the apertures and shutter speeds to see how much detail I could get. And this is what I came up with
