Sunset in Bollington

With beautiful views a short (but hard) 20 minute walk away from my parents home I decided to take full advantage of these with a later sunset. At the top of this hill is a building known locally as White Nancy, it used to be a seating area inside but was blocked off years and years ago but can be seen at the top of the hill for miles. It is currently decorated in celebration of the Diamond jubilee.

Hope you enjoy the photographs

I got to the top of the hill at about 9:20 and sat around for 20/25 minutes photographing the sunset

Rusty Screws and Shallow Depths of Field

Both of these pictures are from the same park bench.

The first picture is a hole in the bench seat. I took some pictures from further away then decided I wanted to capture more detail so went closer in.

The second picture I was messing around with the f stops and shutter speeds and came up with this extremely shallow depth of field. It isn’t the best photograph but I think it really shows off how shallow the depth of field will go
