I have never done food photography before, but when a new local cafe asked me to photograph some of their food for them, I jumped at the opportunity to add to my experiences.
Normally in food photog, the products are covered in glossy sugary goodness to make them look more appealing on camera, but we didnt have the resources to do this so its all as was.

I’ve been away from my blog for a few months now but the photographs have built up so I thought I should start reblogging.
To get me back into it I’ve decided to show you all a few of my instagram photos. The app at first was not my friend. Before I had an iPhone I vowed not to cheat to create pretty photos by taking a picture of a cup of tea with a vintage effect filter over the top.
But after giving in to temptation I realised that if you take a beautiful photo on your phone, it can become even better with the right effect.
